Amanda is a dance instructor, performer, and competitor. She has worked at Rendezvous since 2006. Through Rendezvous, she has taught at area Sport & Health Clubs as well as Takoma Park Middle School and Walter Johnson High School. Amanda started dancing in 1998 as a student with Arthur Murray Dance Studios and continued throughout college and after graduation. She has experience in both American and International style ballroom. She is a competitor in the ballroom and country dance circuuits.

Amanda was trained to teach by Barry and Rachelle for Rendezvous. However, her wide student background has exposed her to a greatly diverse platform of instructors and performers such as Dan Calloway and Alice Dessauer as well as the world-renowned DVIDA Camp instuctors Bob and Julia Powers and Heather Smith. She is currently studying for her professional certifications in both DVIDA and ISTD.

During college, Amanda was a member of the Indiana University Swing Club and Ballroom Dance Club.

She is available for private lessons.
