The mix of music played is appropriate to the theme of the evening (Country, Line Dance, Ballroom, Latin, Swing, etc.).

Friday and Saturday Progressive Parties: A progressive party begins with one style of music, mixes with another style for 60-90 minutes, and then progresses into a second style of music.
